Pulse Oximeter

How to Use:

Install 2 x AAA batteries in the device. Ensure the battery cover is in place.

Place one of your fingers into the rubber hole area of the device, with the nail facing upward. Try to place as much of your finger as possible into the device.

Release the clamp on the device and press the button to activate the Oximeter.

 

READING YOUR DATA:

– Spo2 (Oxygen Saturation)
Functional oxygen saturation is the amount of oxy-hemoglobin expressed as a percentage of the Functioning Hemoglobin. Function-ing Hemoglobin is capable of carrying oxygen and includes oxygenat-ed hemoglobin (Hb02) and deoxygenated hemoglobin (Hb).

– PR (Pulse Rate)
Measured in beats per minute (bpm), is the frequency of your heart beat.

– PI (Perfusion Index)
The ratio of the pulsatile blood flow to the non-pulsatile static blood in peripheral perfusion. Perfusion index is an indication of the pulse strength at the sensor site.

– Plethysmogram
The amount of light absorbed by the varying quantities of arterial blood, changes with the pulse beats. This waveform is called a Plethysmogram. This waveform and its variations are used for assigning signal integrity, physiological, and artifactual changes, such as, perfusion changes, dysrhythmia, motion artifact, and electrical interference.

 

Thermometer

Quick Start Manual:

Step 1:Please make sure that the person or the object you are going to measure has stayed in the same environment for at least 10 minutes.

Step 2:For the initial use, please set the time by pressing ‘Start’. Then, press the power button to confirm. (Please refer to the user manual for more details)

Step 3:Start the measurement in the forehead mode(you will hear a BIBI sound).

Step 4:Aim at the centre of forehead directly with the measuring distance of 2-3 cm. Make sure that the forehead is not blocked by hair. Then, press the Start button.

Step 5:The temperature will be displayed when you hear a BI sound. The screen will show a smiling face which implies normal body temperature. If crying face means fever(≥100℉,37.8℃)
